October breaks in Perthshire August 2009 Here we are half way through August and its already time to think about the Autumn. There are several events happening locally, such as the "Enchanted Forest" and our Bed and Breakfast would make an excellent base for these. > |
Late Summer July 2009 The recent weather has been pretty poor.
As I write the thick cloud and rain have just lifted, the sun has come out and at last I can see over the valley again. We have excellent views over the Tummel Valley and Pitlocry area. > |
Hot Hot Hot July 2009 The temperature rose to 28 degrees C today - a bit too warm for me and quite unusual for us here in Perthshire. The good news is that we should be returning to more normal temperatures soon. We cant promise what the weather will be but we can provide you with a comfortable nights stay. > |
June vacancies June 2009 We have been having a busy time recently and its been a pleasure to welcome back some old faces and of course meet some new ones.
June is also looking busy but we do still have some vacancies for the weekend of the 19th/20th June. > |
Summer in Perthshire May 2009 Apparently we are in for a scorching summer! It may not be here just yet but as and when the summer improves, come and enjoy our views over Pitlochry and to the hills beyond.
We make a peaceful stopover on your way North or we make an ideal base to explore Perthshire. > |

Spring into Perthshire and Pitlochry March 2009 What a difference - yesterday we had three inches of snow and today blue skies and sunshine!
Snow drops, crocus and daffodils are either out or coming out and should make a fine display in the coming weeks and over Easter. > |
Computer downtime February 2009 On Friday 27th February my computer is going into the workshop for a small operation! It should fix a small problem, but it does mean that I shall only have sporadic email coverage until 9th March. During this period it may take me at least 24 hours to respond to any enquiry. > |
Welcome to the 2009 season January 2009 A Happy New Year to all visitors to the site and hopefully you may consider Moville as a place to stay in 2009, perhaps as part of the Homecoming celebrations. Festive season December 2007 Autumn went in a flash and has given way quickly to winter with some sharp frosts already. We are now closed until after the New Year but will reopen in early January. Autumn Approaches September 2007 September and October can be a lovely time of year. Moville Bed and Breakfast provides some great views of the Tummel valley. The heather on the hillside is beginning to darken from the colourful purple that dominated for the last six weeks or so. The leaves on the trees are definitely beginning to turn with the onset of autumn. > |
